With internationally-acclaimed conductor Leonard Slatkin at the helm, the Orchestre National de Lyon is coming to Sarasota for its Van Wezel premiere! Performing a rich and diverse repertoire that spans classical to contemporary pieces, the ONL is proud to promote the music of living composers while still paying tribute to the works of the Greats. Featuring soloist Gil Shaham on the violin, the Orchestre National de Lyon will captivate the audience with Shéhérazade ouverture de féerie (Ravel), Violin Concerto (Barber) and the Romantic period essential Symphonie Fantastique (Berlioz).
