Itzhak Perlman: In The Fiddler's House

The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast presents Florida West Coast’s Premiere of “Itzhak Perlman – In The Fiddler’s House – A Night of Klezmer” on Monday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Almost twenty-three years have passed since internationally-acclaimed violinist and conductor Itzhak Perlman made his iconic album of klezmer music, “In the Fiddler’s House.” In this upcoming live performance, Perlman revisits this meaningful, personal project, featuring the world-renowned Klezmer Conservatory Band, with members from the original recording, released in 1995. Repertoire will include songs from the album, along with a few surprises.

Itzhak Perlman is no stranger to audiences in Southwest Florida. In addition to an active concert career, he and his wife Toby Perlman, founder of The Perlman Music Program, along with their students, faculty and staff, have called the Suncoast their wintertime home-away-from-home for the past 14 years. PMP/Suncoast invites you to celebrate the lead-up to the 15th PMP Sarasota Winter Residency with the only area appearance of “Itzhak Perlman – In the Fiddler’s House.”

TIckets are now on sale here on the Van Wezel website. For more information about The Perlman Music Program Sarasota Winter Residency, visit PMP/
