Yaniv Dinur, conductor | Augustin Hadelich, violin
Gabriella Smith – Field Guide
Beethoven – Violin Concerto
Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 4

Passion fuels this pairing of master composers. One of the world’s most sought-after soloists today, Grammy Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich performs Beethoven’s serene, yet astoundingly difficult Violin Concerto with conducting tour de force Yaniv Dinur on the podium. In his poignant Fourth Symphony, Tchaikovsky reflects on fate and the importance of rejoicing in the happiness of others. The concert opens with emerging composer Gabriella Smith’s Field Guide, featuring rhythms and sounds of the natural world and inspired by Smith’s deep appreciation for the intersection of music and ecology.
