The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is excited to announce our second annual Family Fest! Inspired by our wildly popular Friday Fests, Family Fest is a multigenerational event for the whole family. We will feature two performances of Asolo Rep on Tour’s production of Beanstalk: The Adventures of Jack and the Giant at 10am and 1pm.
At 11:30am, families can step into the fun with FST Improv as they lead fast-paced, family-friendly games where kids and adults can laugh, play, and create stories together in the moment.
Throughout the event, attendees can participate in themed activities with local community organizations, eat fun things from food trucks, and browse the Kids Market, which showcases products made and sold by young local entrepreneurs.
Like Friday Fest, this event is FREE and will take place on our back patio and in the Grand Foyer on Saturday, September 26 from 10-2PM with relaxed performances at 10AM and 1PM.
